Sweet Herb Nosegay

This morning was beautiful and long sleeves felt good. I picked a little nosegay bouquet to bring in all of the loveliness and a little fragrance with it. A snip of hidcote lavender, common sage, lemon balm, globe amarraths, lamb's ears, lavender cotton, and butterfly bush. I snipped off a small piece of ornamental grass over the lambs ears to tie the little bundle together. No special tools or floral supplies needed.

I wish more people would include lavender cotton in their gardens. The leaves have a wonderful scent and the leaves are small and dainty. They do have little yellow button flowers in June. They also can be trimmed and formal in knot gardens.

These little bouquets make you feel so feminine. They are small and adorable. I ended up setting it in a small blue and white tea cup on the table. Did you pick any flowers from your garden today? I'd love to hear.

I love herbs and especially lavender. My lavender did not fair very well this year due to heat and no rain. I just dug up my huge Rosemary today to move to a pot so I may save it. Love your little bundle of joy, enjoy!

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL CANDYLEI!!!!

Ah darlin', how did you fair in the storm??????

And the harvest from your garden is just lovely...oh, I do not want this summer to end. But good things are ahead in school, and I look forward to that. THANK YOU FOR COMING BY!!!! I still enjoy SO MUCH the link I have to your site by looking at the sweet Westie you allowed me to use on my sidebar. It is a portal to your fabulous world.

Well, off to school now; I have to get readjusted to this early schedule!

HAVE A PEACEFUL and productive day! Anita

How pretty and dainty! I went on the balcony and enjoyed my pot plants today! I have an impatiens and a fushia and they have bloomed nicely all summer! ♥
