Candylei Girls Horse Art Painting
The warm sunshine stirs up all kinds of things...like these two girls out to pick flowers in the pasture with their horse. I love oil paints and I haven't painted with them in months! Tonight I sat down and expressed my feelings of summer. This was painted alla prima, all in one sitting, with oils and a very big brush so that I don't fret over the little details. It's the feeling I want to portray.
My dad is doing so much better but still has a physical therapist coming regularly. I am home now and there is work staring at me in every room of this house. Outside it is the weeds versus orderly displays of plants and shrubs. Are there enough hours in the day? I've found out it's very hard to weed in the dark.
But there is so much to be happy for........!

If you turn the car headlights on, it helps when you weed. Been there. Hope your Dad gets better.
Thanks for your kind comment on my blog!

You are very talented, your art is so wonderful! Thanks for visiting.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit! And also thanks for naming that pretty rose I took a picture of. I love your Westie paintings. I'm sure you saw Buddy, my Cairn when you stopped by. It is so nice to meet a new friend. So glad to hear your dad is improving.
