My fairy paintings usually depict a girl in a hat. If you are going to serve tea proper you must dress proper, and that of course, is with a hat. (If you have a coat you must have a hat.) Just like a tea cup is lost without a saucer. Or the marriage of salt and pepper. Sun and Moon. I have this liking for damasks so they are also being featured in the fabrics.
