This is proof that you can grow a garden just about anywhere. This is among the hottest, sunniest location in Maryland. They amended the soil, added some fertilizer (organic, I hope), added plants and then they water occasionally. Here in Maryland we get heavy rains a couple of times a week.
If you have a place in your yard that you think gets too hot or the soil terrible...Think again, it can be done with a little work and the results are so worthwhile. This area was just mulch before and now it's alive and blooming. Yes!
